About Us
LICOSA was founded in 2002 with the mission to preserve our national identity and celebrate our rich cultural heritage. Initially comprising 12 adults and 7 children, the community has grown significantly over the years.
LICOSA
Our Journey
Many Liberians have arrived in South Australia through the Australian government's offshore humanitarian entrant program, while others have joined through family reunion initiatives. Our community's history is marked by the challenges faced during a 14-year civil conflict in Liberia, which has left lasting impacts on our society.
